Woodlake Migrant Education Even Start (MEES) - Family Literacy ProgramThe Woodlake MEES - Family Literacy Program is a collaborative program of the Woodlake Elementary School District and the Tulare County Office of Education Migrant Education Program Region VIII. Participants are Woodlake families with children under the age of 7 who want to improve their English language skills, prepare for the GED, or enter a job training program. Families must be willing to participate in regular program activities, attending at least 85% of the classes, and must qualify as low income. All services are funded through an Even Start grant. There is no charge to families who meet the Even Start guidelines.Goals
