BTSA Cluster Regional Director

• Assistance to programs, including local assessment users, in designing, implementing, refining, and evaluating their services to beginning teachers.
• Assistance to induction programs in building capacity to provide professional services to all personnel involved in local programs.
• Dissemination of information about teacher induction programs to all participants within the geographic region and collaboration with other consultants statewide and with administrative agency staff to ensure ongoing program improvement.
• Oversight of support functions, including meeting logistics, information dissemination and public relations within the cluster.
• Assistance in establishing and maintaining a statewide database for all BTSA program participants.
• Support and assistance for programs to implement the new Induction Standards and the new California Standards for the Teaching Profession.
• Technical support for BTSA Induction Programs to recommend candidates for Professional licensure.
• Provide differentiated support for programs to serve all eligible beginning teachers, including both multiple and single subject credential holders.
