The Story of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks

Over 1300 square miles of Tulare and Fresno Counties are preserved in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Local residents led the battle to save these world-class preserves. Now our actions may help keep them forever. This exciting program examines the history, biology and spectacular scenery of our national parks next door.

Christmas customs and winter season traditions from around the world are examined in this special holiday presentation. Students learn that, although people in different countries do not celebrate this festive occasion in the same way, it is always a very special time of the year for people all around the world.
